But was it murder or just an unfortunate accident?。楚生跟随秦三爷在东北做白事行当，为各种各样的死者送葬发丧，在这过程中有很多古怪的丧葬奇闻出现，楚生作为职业白事人和前来探索奇闻的林记者一起走访民间，经历了一个又一个离奇诡异的民俗故事……。该剧讲述了20世纪30年代中期中共胶东特委发动和领导胶东昆嵛山区人民反抗阶级压迫、宣传抗日救国、进行武装暴动的故事。。
