大陆女孩蓝蓝，抱着满腔理想到伦敦学习音乐，但去后却感寸步难行，幸得中年留学生刘利年之助才安顿下来。赞助蓝蓝赴英留学的华侨其实是想替他儿子查理娶媳妇，但蓝蓝心高气傲加以拒绝，宁愿与刘利年和另一留学生陈大明合作做中国菜外卖维生。两颗寂寞的心在异乡煎熬，却敌不过生活的残酷。蓝蓝最后还是答应嫁给查理，却将初夜给了她所爱的刘利年。。A young woman (Rosemary Wilcox) is haunted by pop-Freudian dreams of her recently murdered psychologist (and lover), so for some reason she goes to a resort where the psychologist liked to hang out and becomes involved with a gangster (Adolf Celli) and the strange female resort owner (Alida Valli). Soon more murders occur involving the other guests at the resort.。
